Fans of Ghost Hunters TAPS is back for season 5 in 2009. The new 2009 Season of
Ghost Hunters will consist of 25 episodes. Jason, Grant and the other TAPS
members will investigate the paranormal in some of the most active locations in
the United States. According to the network this will be the best season ever.
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, along with other team
members who belong to the group they founded, The Atlantic Paranormal Society
(TAPS) have become a favorite among fans as they investigate locations that are
allegedly haunted while paying close attention to any history that particular
location may have.
Rather than
looking for definitive proof of the existence of paranormal activity TAPS does
not believe every piece of evidence gathered is proof of the paranormal. They
believe that in order to establish credibility within their investigations,
evidence should be debunked by searching for reasonable explanations for things
such as "cold spots" (that may be drafty doors or windows), "moving objects"
(that may have been bumped or moved), "phantom lights" (that may be lights from
cars on the street), and "strange noises" (that may be noisy plumbing or just
normal settling noises).
The Ghost Hunters
investigative team:
Jason Hawes - Producer, Lead Investigator/TAPS Founder
Grant Wilson - Producer, Lead Investigator/TAPS Co-founder
Steve Gonsalves - Technical Manager/Evidence Analyst
Dave Tango - Investigator/Evidence Analyst
Kris Williams - Investigator/Evidence Analyst/Historical
Researcher/Case Manager
Ami Bruni - Investigator
Jason and Grant each
cite their interest in paranormal investigation as a result of independent
experiences they each have had. They also have another aspect of their
lives in common as they both were plumbers for Roto-Rooter. In the earlier
episodes this was featured as Jason and Grant were depicted as finishing up a
Roto-Rooter job just as they received that all important cell phone call from
their case manager telling them about the newest phone call for help. Since
their roles as plumbers for Roto-Rooter has declined in the show, they now are
just spokesmen and use the equipment to advertise their sponsors including
Roto-Rooter.
Friendoozle staff - especially Bubbies - are long time fans
of the show and look forward to the new 25 episode season.
