How much is music a part of your life?
When and where do you listen to music?
Have you ever had a song stuck in your head? How hard is it to get rid of that song?
How do you think music influences a person’s thoughts and actions?
Why is God concerned about the music that fills your life?

Col 3:16,17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Music has been a part of human existence since mankind’s earliest days on earth.

Gen 4:21 And his brother's name [was] Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

In the cultures described in the Bible, music communicated both personal and community feelings.
Exodus 15 records the musical festivities of Israel after the people miraculously crossed the Red Sea. Miriam and the women danced with timbrels (tambourines) as Moses and the rest of the people sang to the Lord. Music accompanied men into battle, then celebrated victories in war.

1 Sam 18:6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.
Song and dance also honored kings at their coronations

2 Chron 23:13 And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise.

Music soothed troubled minds.

1 Sam 16:23 And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Music accompanied prophesy.

1 Sam 10:5 After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where [is] the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy

And music expressed personal sorrow.

Job 30:31 My harp also is [turned] to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

The most famous ancient musician was King David. As a shepherd boy caring for his father’s flock, David played the harp or lyre. He became so skilled that he played for King Saul and the King was so taken with David’s skill that David became part of the King’s court.

1 Sam 16:17-23 And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring [him] to me. Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is] cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him. Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which [is] with the sheep. And Jesse took an ass [laden] with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent [them] by David his son unto Saul. And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer. And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight. And then we read how the power of music soothed the savage beast in the King… And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

In the book of Colossians, Paul listed psalms and hymns and spiritual songs as appropriate means of teaching through music.

Music like every other area of our life, should honor God. Every action should be done with thankfulness to God. We need to focus on what God has done for us, and praise and give thanks to God out of gratefulness. When you’re listening to music, these are the things you should be asking yourself:

Does this song honor God and His ways?

1 Cor 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Does this song help me think about what is right and true?

Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.

Does this song reinforce my faith?

Rom 14:22,23 Hast thou faith? have [it] to thyself before God. Happy [is] he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because [he eateth] not of faith: for whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin.

Does this song approve what God condemns?

Prov 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both [are] abomination to the LORD.

Do the words of this song displease God?

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Can I listen to this song in the name of the Lord Jesus?

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Do my parents approve of this song?

Col 3:20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Will listening to this song offend the Holt Spirit, Who lives in me?

1 Cor 6:19.20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Danny Gokey has a remarkable touching and heart wrenching story that is the most inspiring testament for believing in Deity of God, Jesus and and the Holy Spirit that can ever be told.

Danny Gokey was happy and content in his faith and marriage to Sophia, his high school sweetheart and wife of 5 years. Sophia died one month before the American Idol auditions that she encouraged her husband to try out for.

Danny Gokey attended the audition and I remember his video testament and how palpable his pain was in the early video interview that preceded his audition. Through his pain he was able to deliver on Sophia's desire that he try out for the show.

Through inspiration and his continued belief in God Danny's new album is a smashing hit and a life testimony of the Grace of God. I highly recommend picking up the CD.

Danny has also written a book, "Hope in Front of Me" and it is an inspiring read. Danny Gokey is a remarkable person who is doing remarkable things through his story and Sophia's Heart, a foundation Danny set up in Sophia's name to help struggling families with shelter as they get back on their feet.

Living Without Worry - Place Your Troubles on Jesus

I find it very hard to manage the trials and tribulations of living sometimes. I worry about the kids and keeping them focused on what is important. ...

I find it very hard to manage the trials and tribulations of living sometimes. I worry about the kids and keeping them focused on what is important. We all have our distractions; how can I balance my busy work schedule, family and still make time for the Lord? When all I have to do is remember to be grateful and glorify God in everything I do and when the burden becomes too great for me I can trust that turning it over to the Lord everything will be handled.

Phil 4:6,7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The Greek word for “keep”, as found in Philippians 4:7, is a first-century term for high security, denoting to “set a watch”, “stand guard”, or “keep securely locked.” The peace which comes only from God will stand guard over a believer’s heart and mind by means of Jesus Christ.

The answer to worry is prayer. Prayer and commitment. Those things that concern me, those things that cause me to worry are the very things I need to be praying about and once I’ve prayed about them, I need to trust God to take care of them. I need to know that once I commit them to God, they’re in His hands and He will work them out for His glory. Now it may not be for my pleasure, it may not be like I want it to be, but I thank God I’m not in control. It would be like if I were in control of my salvation. If salvation was up to me, I’d lose it for sure. I thank God that He is in control of the circumstances that surround me. If I were in control of my life, I could make the worst mess out of my life.

Thinking that I was doing what I thought was good, but you know, if you just let a kid go, they’ll eat nothing but ice cream sundaes and nothing else. And so I would place an order for my life, make it sweet with hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. I want a bed of roses Lord. I want to take it easy. I don’t want the hard stuff. I don’t want to struggle. I don’t want trials and tribulation. I don’t want to deal with any problems. But it doesn’t always work out that way. Many times there are hardships, difficulties. There are things in my life that happen, that I don’t understand but my faith is being tested and my faith is being developed. Because I’m learning to trust in God even when I can’t see the way. And even though it doesn’t go the way I want it to go, I still trust the Lord and I learn that He has a better plan. Yes it was tough, yes I did hurt, yes there was suffering, but oh the lessons that I learned I wouldn’t trade for anything. Because I grew in my walk… and my relationship with God has been enhanced by the experience, and I count that which I gained in my relationship with Him, far more than the struggle I went through.

Malachi 3:3 And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: They that live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. It’s not going to be easy, but the Lord is going to be there and the Lord will give you strength and the Lord will help you. So, the worries, the concerns, the anxiety, pray about them. Give them over to the Lord.

Psm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

So, in “prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Prayer is not a monolog, it’s a dialog, and it’s important that we wait for God to speak to us as well as speak to God. We need to wait and hear what God is trying to tell us. It’s more important that we hear God, than it is for God to hear us.

We are to live each day as the precious gift it is. How can we fully enjoy today if we are so worried about what tomorrow will bring? None of us is promised tomorrow. We think we need to know what God is doing and why, to have peace. That’s not what it says.
However, we are promised the peace of God ”which passeth all understanding”. In other words, we have something better than knowledge; we have the promise of peace.

Phil 4:6,7 Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We have this notion that we are in control of certain aspects of our life. The idea of not having control can cause anxiety. What are some of the things in your life that you have control over? You are the only one that has control over where you are going to spend eternity! That’s just about it. Ever have the flu? You’re not even in control of your own body. The sooner we realize that we are not in control but that God is, the sooner we can accept our circumstances knowing that we are never alone in all we go through. Our walk with Jesus gives us that peace, the comfort of knowing we’re never alone and that He is in control. For most of us, rarely a day passes when we don’t succumb to the temptation to worry. Mercifully, instead of sharply rebuking us for this sin, God has given us precious promises in His Word to help us guard against worry. Worrying is a sin. We’re saying I don’t have enough faith, I don’t trust you. We may not all have the same worries, but we all have a tendency to worry. Worrying is a bad habit that needs to be broken. Using God’s Word will help protect us against worry. If we are strong in our faith, we have nothing to worry about. God will supply us with all of our needs.

What kinds of things do you worry about?
How do you feel when you worry?
How much do you accomplish by worrying about the problem?
If worrying makes us feel bad, and accomplishes nothing, why do we do it?

Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. What do we have to rejoice about? Your name is written in the book of life. You are going to spend eternity in Heaven! Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Your eternity has been decided. When was your name written in the book of life?

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Today’s pace is so fast. We’ve become a slave to technology, instead of having a little more time to enjoying life, we can’t get away from the hustle and bustle, we can’t unplug. Stress is the number one killer in our society today. It does so much damage to our bodies and our minds. It robs us of the peace we so desperately want. We can find that peace in God’s word. Shut the world out and lose yourself in God’s Word. Remember to pray and thank Him for all of the blessings in your life.

Prov 3:5,6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Stop Forum Spammers and VPN Spamming

Spammers don't have to be of the hacking type. Many are just known as forum spammers. They have a product to sell and using any open forum to do so is an easy way to get a link back to their website.

Forum spamming is a constant battle for website operators. If you don't want the spammy product endorsement type I suggest using a service that blocks based on either a database list of known and reported email addresses. That eliminates the need to block by IP address. Blocking by IP address sometimes limits legitimate traffic because those IP addresses could be dynamically assigned and the very next person who happens to get that address may not have any ill intentions at all. Blocking people by IP address potentially limits your website traffic.

Although blocking by IP is not a really favorable approach it is sometimes necessary. ISPs who operate really cheap virtual web hosting or free email services who offer free and untraceable email addresses fit into those types of spam sources that IP blocking is a necessity. Those ISP network operators who allow spam to flow from their networks have modeled their whole business on pandering to the spammer. Operators who claim to have anti-spam policies rarely enforce them as it is in their best interest to allow the spammy service to continue. When their network IPs become blacklisted by RBL services they just purchase new blocks of IPs and pass the old blacklisted ones off to unsuspecting customers at a below market hosting price.

I suggest using a service like CleanTalk. The folks over at CleanTalk offer fresh lists of spam email addresses, IP addresses and they also offer the ability to block by network CIDR which allows even more possibilities. Each know network is listed by their AS number and there is a corresponding spam rate published for that operator giving you the ability to totally block a whole range of IP addresses from a particular bad actor. We typically block any network who consistently runs a 65% spam rate especially if it doesn't appear they are doing anything to curb the spamming on their network.

CleanTalk also offers API support so you can integrate live, fresh, database listed blocking filters preventing spammers from posting in your forums. If you operate a forum you need some automation in controlling spamming...CleanTalk is one of the best services I have seen,

These once well respected networks are finding it very difficult to refuse the income that allowing a certain portion of their networks to slip into these spammer and proxy terrorists. Just how much is acceptable?

Many legitimate businesses used to rely on collocation services through such providers who offer colo-hosting but with network spam rates exceeding 50%, 60%, or 90+ percent what legitimate business can afford the steep cost of hosting with them and the range of IP addresses that they operate. Maintaining a reputable business with a web site and email server hosted on a previously "bad" or abused IP range can be quite costly to one's reputation.

Protecting your website's reputation is of utmost importance in preserving and elevating your SEO objective. Launching a perfectly secured, SEO optimized, web presence on a range of IP addresses with a "bad" reputation isn't very sound business. Be prudent in selecting your host and insist they allow you to do a pre-purchase search on the IP range you will be provisioning from their network. Use diligence in proving the reputation of those IPs before you agree to purchase services. Run the prospective IP ranges against many DBL's. You may want to use an aggregator tool for checking an IP address for nefarious use by using a free service such as mxtoolbox.com. There are many hosting services to choose from just be informed about your selection as there are more costs to consider other than the monthly hosting fee.

In this day and age of "political correctness" Christians are falling under intense criticism by non-believers and mislead so called Christians for not accepting the "new normal". Are we as Christians supposed to believe that our Holy Bible contains only allegorical descriptions of what God says in the inspired manuscript? I believe that God says exactly what he means and furthermore, means what he says.

I personally have a hard time listening to someone who calls himself Christian turn his back on the very people that he supposedly shares a belief in the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The fact that anyone could stand by and allow the destruction of Christian Churches and the murder of innocent believers stands in the face of this falsehood he projects.

I submit that he is not who he professes to be. He is, in fact, a liar that bows in obedience to the false god of Islam. He aligns himself with Islam and remonstrates, or berates Christianity at every opportunity.

I do not understand how a country founded on the belief in God; a country in which 90 percent of its' citizens believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, can stand by and watch this abomination descend on us. We seem to be content to allow the loud and vocal few to decide for the many. We certainly complain about the few voices that are bringing the destruction of our country built on the belief in God, but what are we willing to do about it? What would you be willing to do to reclaim what our obedience to God and Israel have allowed us to enjoy? Should we all just stand by and allow them to change our support of Israel and all the blessings that are promised from that? We all know that it is wrong and to do nothing is to be disconnected, disengaged or "lukewarm", defiant, disobedient and complicit in God's view.

Rev 3:16
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Blasphemers and Apostates like Rick Warren who claim we worship the same God lead their flocks astray. Chrislam is a Trojan Horse promoted by this way of thinking. The Jesus that we know and love as our Saviour is not the Jesus of the Qur'an no matter how many times the Pope blesses the book.

We believers in Jesus Christ the son of God need to ban ourselves together and prepare for the battle that ensues. All that are tired of the few dictating the path of the many please feel free to leave a comment.

Current Administration Allows Tolls on Interstate Highways

In Washington State we have some of the worst traffic in the country. We have a north-south route, I-5, and a bypass I-405 that can be really tough to travel on unless you can take advantage of the carpool lanes. In most states that have federally funded Interstate carpool lanes the states have placed reasonable time restrictions for the HOV only use. Usually these HOV lanes are restricted to 2+ person carpools, buses, and hours during peak commute times. They are usually open to all traffic outside those peak times. Not here in the Seattle area the State D.O.T. citing federal funding as the reason why there is no reasonable off-peak unrestricted usage of those lanes...until now.

The current Administration has reversed a long-standing mandate that tolling on Interstate highways was not allowed. This has opened the door to a localized Interstate system by allowing states to apply tolls to existing toll-free Interstate lanes. Now those lanes that were 2+ restricted are now 3+ restricted and possibly a user fee would be added. In addition, the change in the law supposedly prevent States from tolling federal interstates now except if the money is used to add lanes or otherwise increase capacity, or if the highways have had tolls dating back to before the federal interstate highway program was launched in 1956.

Washington's I-405 tolling not only increases the carpool occupancy requirement from 2 to 3 passengers it also adds tolling on the passing lane thus decreasing capacity forcing those drivers who choose not to pay a toll to use the two un-tolled lanes. It appears that this is in direct conflict with that portion of the bill.

I don't know about all drivers' opinions but of the ones I have talked to this new highway tolling should allow a reduction in our per gallon gasoline tax which is among the highest in the continental United States. This action is not about increasing capacity, rather it is establishing a new revenue stream. One thing to consider - just as the tolling on the Narrows Bridge has proven, they never lower the tolls or taxes.

Linux users can access their Linux server installations remotely a couple of ways.

If you have a Linux server installation already set up and running the SSH daemon you can access that machine by SSH clients for Windows:

Putty - a command line terminal interface for Windows.

Tunnelier - a Windows graphical interface that provides many different protocols such as sFTP over SSH.

If you primarily access your Linux server over SSH from another Linux machine there is no need for any special software. You can access SSH at command line level simply using Linux terminal. The command to access SSH from terminal is:

$ ssh -p port# username@ipaddress  (default port is 22) i.e.
$ ssh -p 22 james@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

You will then be prompted for your password.

Alternatively, you may want to have a graphical interface available for transferring files to and from your server. You may use any of the distribution's file managers to connect directly to your server.

For Example using Linux Mint 17 and its' file manager to access a server with sFTP over SSH on CentOS or RHEL: Any desktop Linux distribution has a file manager built in that will work.

$ sftp://james@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:22

File manager displays directory structure of server machine in a 'friendly' graphical interface much like the Windows client Tunnelier.

Here are the lyrics:

"My Father's Eyes"

Sailing down behind the sun,
Waiting for my prince to come.
Praying for the healing rain
To restore my soul again.

Just a toerag on the run.
How did I get here?
What have I done?
When will all my hopes arise?
How will I know him?
When I look in my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.
When I look in my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.

Then the light begins to shine
And I hear those ancient lullabies.
And as I watch this seedling grow,
Feel my heart start to overflow.

Where do I find the words to say?
How do I teach him?
What do we play?
Bit by bit, I've realized
That's when I need them,
That's when I need my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.
That's when I need my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.

Then the jagged edge appears
Through the distant clouds of tears.
I'm like a bridge that was washed away;
My foundations were made of clay.

As my soul slides down to die.
How could I lose him?
What did I try?
Bit by bit, I've realized
That he was here with me;
I looked into my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.
I looked into my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.

My father's eyes.
My father's eyes.
I looked into my father's eyes.
My father's eyes.

I have started listening to songs that we have all sang along with over the years and really paying attention to the lyrics. I have found what I believe are little 'tid bits' of worship praises to God in some take for example the Bee Gees 'How Deep is Your Love'. A seemingly simple and sweet melody seems to describe a common description of trying to walk with Jesus, failing, and then his unwavering love being there even as we fall away. Here are the lyrics:

"How Deep Is Your Love"

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How Deep Is Your Love

How deep is your love, How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest darkest hour
You're my saviour when I fall
And you may not think
I care for you
When you know down inside
That I really do
And it's me you need to show
How Deep Is Your Love

How deep is your love, How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How Deep Is Your Love

How deep is your love, How deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

Encoding php written software so that it can’t be reversed engineered started from early work in code acceleration. In Linux servers the encoder will read the compiled source thus reducing overhead in processing. One method for speeding up processing and protecting the original code is using a decoder – a php extension called the ionCube Loader.

If you are running protected, encoded software that requires the ioncube loaders be installed on your CentOS 6 64 server running Apache 2 and Php 5.3.3 this is the method I have used to install and enable the decoder in the past:

It is recommended that the ZendGuardLoader has been previously installed and working with SE-Linux.

1. Download Package:

# wget http://downloads3.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz

2.	Extract the package:

# tar -xzvf ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz

3. Copy the .so file to php/modules folder.

# cp ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so /usr/lib64/php/modules/

4. Add at the top of /etc/php.ini

# nano /etc/php.ini
zend_extension = /usr/lib64/php/modules/ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so

3. Restart your Web server.
# /etc/init.d/httpd restart

3.	Check for no errors # php –v
Output should look like:
PHP 5.3.3 (cli) (built: Jul 3 2012 16:53:21)
Copyright (c) 1997-2010 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2010 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.4.1, Copyright (c) 2002-2013, by ionCube Ltd., and
with Zend Guard Loader v3.3, Copyright (c) 1998-2010, by Zend Technologies

In some cases due to other packages that may have been installed running SE-Linux is not possible. Please try and use SE-Linux if at all possible as it does afford a bit of extra security.

When running scripts that are protected with Zend encoded framework it is necessary to install a decoder such as Zend Guard Loader. If you are running CentOS 6 server and need the extra protection that SE-Linux provides in a production environment this should get your ZendGuardLoader extension running for your previously installed Apache 2 webserver and Php 5.3.3 webserver.

1. Download package:

# wget http://downloads.zend.com/guard/5.5.0/ZendGuardLoader-php-5.3-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz

2. Extract the Zend Loader package.

# tar xzvf ZendGuardLoader-php-5.3-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz

3. Locate and copy the ZendGuardLoader.so that corresponds to the installed Php version into the proper directory.

# cp ZendGuardLoader-php-5.3-linux-glibc23-x86_64/php-5.3.x /usr/lib64/php/modules/

4. Create a file called ZendGuard.ini within the /etc/php.d directory where all the other php associated .ini files live.

# nano /etc/php.d/ZendGuard.ini

Paste the lines below into the newly created ZendGuard.ini file:

; Enable Zend Guard extension
zend_extension=/usr/lib64/php/modules/ZendGuardLoader.so
zend_loader.enable=1

5. Restart your Web server.
# /etc/init.d/httpd restart

IMPORTANT: After restart Apache, and executing php -v you may get error messages like “Failed loading /usr//lib64/php/modules/ZendGuardLoader.so
: /usr/lib64/php/modules/ZendGuardLoader.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied”.

You will need to execute like this to fix the SE-Linux permissions - just change the correct path to SO files.
1. # chcon -t texrel_shlib_t /usr/lib64/php/modules/ZendGuardLoader.so
2. # execstack -c /usr/lib64/php/modules/ZendGuardLoader.so

Run #php –v again and if you don’t get any errors, problem is solved.
Ok, so I've watched Animal Planet's so called documentary and the follow-up "New Evidence" that was on tonight. I have read that this story is all fake and they are just using it to start conversations about how exploration in the ocean is bad for marine life especially for undiscovered species that are supposed to be "human like".

I have to say that based on the way that I feel about Bigfoot I would tend to agree that there could be a species that we have not discovered in the oceans. It does warrant more investigation, however, let us not be held hostage to off-shore oil and natural gas exploration because of some species that is potentially a fable.

Bigfoot is being sought after without any delay in on-shore exploration. We need to do the same in the off-shore realm and if more "credible" evidence is discovered then we can revisit the whole nature before oil drilling debate.
I watched the season finale of Finding Bigfoot Easter Sunday. I also watched the "behind the scenes" show. I cannot believe that Ranae can't believe that there might be an undiscovered species. That is what cryptozoologist said about the "Silver back" gorillas among other species that have been recently discovered. They discover hundreds of new species each year in the Amazon.

I, for one, totally have an open mind when it comes to sasquatch. I live in the Great Northwest and have talked to people who think they have seen them but I have never had an encounter...at least not yet.

There is also the theory that sasquatch could be Nephilim that the Bible describes in Genesis. Late in the 1950’s, road construction within the Euphrates Valley Turkey, many tombs with giants' remains were discovered. Many of the unearthed leg bones were measured to be 47.24 inches. The Director, Joe Taylor, of Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum in Crosbyton, Texas was commissioned to sculpt the human femur. This particular Antediluvian giant stood approximately 14-16 ft.

The Bible's prophecies are 100% true to date and I believe the Bible is the true inspired word of God. There is no reason to doubt the existence of a large humanoid whether Nephilim or undiscovered primate. Have you ever seen a bigfoot? Do you know someone who has?
Microsoft and Google dump IE8 - Move Backs Windows XP Users into Corner

Google not supporting Microsoft's Internet Explorer any longer. Some have suggested that Google is taking advantage of the decision by Microsoft to not support Internet Explorer 9 in the XP OS.

Microsoft has denied the installation of Internet Explorer 9 onto Windows XP even though IE 9 was introduced in 2009 while official support for the XP operating system was still in effect. This move by Microsoft has backed it's XP users into the corner. Their move to drop support for XP coupled with not allowing the installation of IE 9 on the XP platform may be the software giant's way of forcing users to buy the latest operating system. The problem is that there are many businesses who run a distributed system of terminal services where the upgrade path to the Windows 7 or Windows 8 is not totally hammered out.

Windows 7 is a very solid OS. Microsoft has done a great job in the rewrite of the kernel. It is, however, ironic that the uptake rate of Windows 7 was not as great as expected. This maybe the "bad taste in our mouths" that Vista left us with. Windows XP still holds a large market share among OSes. There are approximately 42.5% XP to 42.8% Windows 7 users. The market share of XP to 7 is about 50/50 quite surprising since XP has been around for 11 + years. This is a substantial portion of their OS market. But still in their infinite wisdom, Microsoft seems to want to force their users to upgrade or move on.

For those who are married to XP for at least the next few months or years it may be best to abandon the IE 8 and move to Fireox. Firefox still supports running on the XP platform. Considering Microsoft and Google both discarding Internet Explorer into the vast refuse bin of deprecated software it would be wise for Firefox to continue the suppport to users of XP. You may elect to move to Google's Chrome also. For the average user this can prove to be a bit of a hassle. Forcing their users to upgrade or switch may just cause Microsoft a bit of a lag in OS sales, however, it will be brief.

It was one summer afternoon and my wife and I had just returned from shopping. We have a daylight basement that I call my "man cave" where I have my high definition television, a pool table and on the far wall across from the door we have a roll top desk that was built by a friend of ours as a gift. It was the area around and on this desk we witnessed a blue streak of light that lingered for about 3 or 4 seconds.

We play pool occasionally, however, our pool table is used as a drop off point since it is near the door that opens into the garage. On this late summer afternoon we walked in, my wife directly behind me, to drop our bags off on the pool table before heading upstairs to prepare some lunch like we have done so many times before except this time we had this strange blue light experience.

Above our pool table we have a wicker pool table light suspended above the playing surface from a chain. This particular pool table light had regular incandescent light bulbs in it so occasionally we would have one of them "pop" or burn out when we would turn on the switch. Nothing abnormal about that as we have all seen what it's like when a bulb flashes its' last flash before burning out.

My wife's view of the roll top desk was blocked as I stood directly in front of her as we entered the "man cave", however, she could see the areas to the left and right of the desk. The room was dark, like all man caves should be, and I saw a blue streak of light move from right to left across the desktop. It was so bright and self-illuminating that it cast a shadow on the desk as it moved across. There were shadows from the pencil holder and other items sitting on the desk that cast back against the back wall of the open roll top. There was no mistaking that this light source was real. It traversed the desktop and as suddenly as it appeared it vanished just a few inches past the left side of the desk. When I asked my wife if she had seen what I saw she replied, "I saw the illumination of the area, it was bluish, it seemed to cast shadows on the wall, but I thought that you had just turned the pool table light on and one of the bulbs had popped as they sometimes do". The pool table light had not been turned on and to add to the mystery there is absolutely no power in that section of the room. This remains a total mystery to this day.

Any ideas on what we witnessed that day?

This is an illustration

Install Sendmail and Configure as a Smarthost in CentOS 6.2

CentOS 6 and up comes with postfix as the default mail server. If you need a mail server since you are running a webserver that only needs to send mail from the web script to Gmail or through your ISP’s mailserver then Sendmail configured as a ‘smart host’ will work perfectly.

To remove postfix and install sendmail:
1. yum remove postfix
(postfix is the mail server installed by default with CentOS 6.2)

2. yum install sendmail
yum install sendmail-cf

3. cd /etc/mail
cp sendmail.mc sendmail.mc.original
cp sendmail.cf sendmail.cf.original

4. nano /etc/mail/sendmail.mc
define(`SMART_HOST', `mail.yourhost.com&#039
save

5. Then convert the file into a sendmail compiled format with this command and restart sendmail.
m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

/etc/init.d/sendmail restart

6. SElinux usually blocks Apache from sending email so you have to check to see.

Check: getsebool httpd_can_sendmail [if answer = httpd_can_sendmail --> off] then apply fix
Fix: setsebool -P httpd_can_sendmail=1 [takes a while for SElinux to process so be patient]
Check again to make sure it took: getsebool httpd_can_sendmail [answer should be "on" now]

restart Apache: /etc/init.d/httpd restart

7. Now test if Apache can send email [remember to open port 25 on Firewall]
create a file called message.txt nano /etc/mail/message.txt
type the following into the file and save:

to: you@yourdomain.com
from: admin@yourdomain.com
subject: Testing sendmail from CentOS
Testing from sendmail on CentOS
Apache is able to send email
your mail signature

To send message from command line:
[root@/etc/mail]sendmail -vt -G mail.yourdomain.com < message.txt

8. Check and see if the email went through ok.

Searching the internet for information that has been abridged or obscured can be frustrating at times. Blame whomever you want, however, search engine optimization and the desire to drive traffic to helpful information latent with advertising seems to out weigh sites that strive to provide a public service.

It is this frustration that prompted the development of this website. We strive to provide a balanceof service and advertising to off set the cost of maintaining this website.

Tribes One was released in 1998 as an online first person shooter. It's hard to believe that a online game that was released when most of the gamers of the day connected by dial-up modem. The gameplay by modem connection was surprisingly responsive. With multiple servers now hosting games and the increase of internet speeds in Tribes plays alot smoother. Other popular games that I feel are a total ripoff of Tribes (Halo to mention one) don't have that all important signature control that is the centerpiece of Tribes - The abilty to fly using your jetpack. Flying and targeting players in-air takes a lot of practice. Not only does a player have to be aware of energy level in his jetpack but also has to account for the arc of the projectile that he is firing. This one signature ability makes the Tribes experience unique. If you have never tried Tribes before I would suggest you check it out. Google it and you should find some links to the game for free download. Maybe you'll see me in one of the gameservers...I host a few of them too.
